Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Architect to design, develop, and optimize scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-based solutions. This role focuses on creating innovative cloud architectures that align with business goals while ensuring compliance with security and operational best practices. Working in an agile environment, the Cloud Architect will implement and oversee cloud infrastructure, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and ensuring effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures.
• Create and maintain cloud-native applications, utilizing containerization, serverless computing, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Ensure the optimization of cloud resources, balancing performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration and deployment.
• Maintain robust security measures, including encryption, identity management, and compliance with industry standards such as GDPR, SOC 2, and HIPAA.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies into cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and engineering teams to ensure effective adoption of cloud services.
• Mentor team members and provide guidance on cloud strategies and best practices.
• Monitor cloud systems for reliability and proactively address potential issues.
• Provide strategic recommendations to leadership to align cloud initiatives with organizational goals.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, with expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, or PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with serverless computing, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud security practices, including identity and access management (IAM) and encryption protocols.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
• Experience with AI/ML workloads on cloud platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL systems.
• Expertise in performance tuning and capacity planning for cloud infrastructure.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
