Data Engineer V job at SGS Consulting Remote, US

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Design and implement data models to meet business requirements
Build and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights and trends to stakeholders
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize data processes

Skills:

10+ years of industry experience in data engineering, with a focus on data modeling, ETL pipeline implementation, and dashboard/visualization building
Proficient in SQL and Python
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and data warehousing principles
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Must-Have Skills
Data modeling experience
ETL, data processing steps
SQL and Python and coding, and visualizations
Nice-to-have Skills:
Success metric definitions
Someone with ability to drive suggestions and efficiencies
Ability work through ambiguity with XFN

Education/Experience:

Collaborate closely with supply chain business partners to understand key metrics and data tracking requirements
Develop and implement data functions that support business needs and reporting
Design and build scalable data models to organize and structure data effectively
Create and maintain ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load data for analysis readiness
Develop dashboards and visualizations to present insights clearly to stakeholders
Analyze data to explain trends, answer partner questions, and provide actionable recommendations
