Where You’ll Work

This position is based in our Lenexa, KS office. We leverage a hybrid working model working three days in the office, two days optional remote work.

What You’ll Do

The Data Quality Analyst is responsible for managing and improving the quality of data within the Data Product Operations group. This role will facilitate the submission of data for the assigned data products, identify and investigate data quality issues, research and implement solutions to correct problems, develop testing plans, and execute data quality initiatives.

  • Develop and implement processes to validate new data to ensure quality of specific database product data loads.
  • Work with hospitals and data management vendors to ensure timely and complete data submission.
  • Identify root causes of data quality issues; develop recommendations for addressing them and present recommendations to the appropriate group.
  • Work with users of the data products to research reported data anomalies, identify root causes, and determine remediation steps.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other team members and children’s hospitals to develop solutions as needed.

What You’ll Bring To CHA

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying.

  • Bachelor’s degree required in computer science, mathematics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years of experience working with database products.
  • Significant knowledge of writing SQL queries, developing reports, and working with Microsoft SQL Server environment.
  • Knowledge of health care data standards (e.g. HL7, UB04) and classification systems (e.g. LOINC, ICD9/10, CPT, SNOMED, MS-DRG).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate anomalies and proactively solve problems.

This pay range shown is a guideline. Min: $70,000 Max: $135,000 Compensation is based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
