Job Description

Salary: $65,000 - 105,000 per year Requirements:

• Proficient in Black box testing, White box testing, Regression Testing, and manual verification of embedded devices
• Ability to write test codes effectively
• Extensive experience in the Medical Device Industry is essential
• Strong understanding of Medical Quality Management System (MQMS), ISO 13485, and Risk Management ISO 14971
• Familiarity with Medical Device Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as per IEC 62304 is preferred
• Solid expertise in System and Software architecture, along with the ability to create and execute test protocols
• Proficient in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, digital multimeters (DMM), and power supply units (PSU)
• Experience in designing, reviewing, and updating test protocols
• Hands-on experience with communication protocols like RS-232 and RS-485
• In-depth knowledge of testing software from inception through to final release, including requirement specifications, planning, and documentation
• Strong experience in Design Verification Testing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at various organizational levels
• Previous experience in regulated industries such as Medical, Aerospace, or Automotive is crucial

• Conduct thorough manual software verification for embedded devices
• Develop and execute test protocols while ensuring compliance with quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and scope
• Write and maintain test codes for efficient testing processes
• Utilize testing instruments to gather data and support verification activities
• Identify, document, and assist in resolving defects throughout the software lifecycle
• Prepare detailed reports outlining testing results, findings, and recommendations for product improvements
• Participate in design verification testing to validate product functionality and safety
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding testing progress and results
