Job Description:The Financial Analyst III is a senior-level accounting and finance role that supports financial reporting, cost accounting, forecasting, and analysis activities across enterprise financial systems. This position operates within a collaborative general accounting team and provides analytical support across most financial systems, excluding a small number of specialized areas.
In this role, the Financial Analyst III will focus on healthcare cost reporting, reimbursement analysis, and research and grants accounting. The position requires strong analytical capabilities, deep accounting knowledge, and the ability to clearly communicate financial insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. The Financial Analyst III serves as a technical resource for advanced financial analysis and modeling, supporting strategic and operational decision-making.
A successful Financial Analyst III demonstrates attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-based accounting environment. The Financial Analyst III plays a critical role in ensuring data accuracy, financial transparency, and informed business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:Coordinate financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and benchmarking activities
Support operating and capital budget planning and business performance analysis
Perform healthcare cost reporting and reimbursement analysis
Support research and grants accounting and related financial reporting
Maintain and validate financial reporting and cost accounting systems
Review data uploads, reconcile system data, and ensure financial data accuracy
Utilize healthcare cost accounting systems for reporting and analysis
Develop financial models, forecasts, and feasibility studies
Analyze financial results, identify variances, and communicate findings clearly
Serve as a technical resource for accounting and finance staff
Support general accounting operations as required
Financial Reporting & General Accounting (GL, Reconciliations): 5+ years

Healthcare Cost Reporting & Reimbursement: 3+ years
Research & Grants Accounting Support: 3+ years
