Job Title: Playwright QA Automation Engineer

Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid / Onsite)

Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled Playwright QA Automation Engineer to join our QA team and support the testing of modern web applications.
• The ideal candidate will have strong experience in UI automation using Playwright and a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications
• Execute automated and manual test cases to validate functionality, performance, and reliability
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and testing scope
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Continuously improve test coverage and automation frameworks

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
• Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience in UI automation testing for web applications
• Good understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and QA best practices
• Experience with Git and version control systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
• Knowledge of performance testing tools
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Gherkin)
