The Management area at Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management seeks applicants for a tenure-track faculty appointment. This search is open level. We will consider new Ph.D.s, as well as those who are a few years out, and those who already have tenure. Applicants should have an active and engaging research agenda, with a track record of publications in prestigious outlets. On the teaching side we seek demonstrated ability to teach MBA-level courses effectively. We are open to candidates with research and teaching interests in any aspect of Management, including OB, OT, and Strategy. We prefer candidates with flexible teaching interests.

The Management area (encompassing Strategy, OB, and OT) is comprised of faculty with varied interests spanning topics, methods, and levels of analysis. Faculty members in the area publish in and hold important editorial roles in highly regarded journals, and have served in leadership roles in key professional associations. The Owen School offers a daytime MBA with approximately 360 full-time students, an Executive MBA program, and one-year masters programs in finance, accounting, marketing, and health care management. Vanderbilt is strongly committed to interdisciplinary enterprises, and the Owen School faculty cultivates teaching and research connections with the College of Arts and Science as well as the schools of Medicine, Law, Engineering, and other divisions of the university.

The Owen School () occupies Management Hall, a spacious, modern, multilevel building containing classrooms, seminar rooms, offices, lounges, and the Walker Management Library. Vanderbilt ( vanderbilt.edu ), ranked among the nation's leading research universities, has more than 1,500 full-time faculty members and approximately 13,500 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. Its park-like 330-acre campus is ideally situated just five minutes from downtown Nashville, Tennessee. Founded in 1873, the university consists of eleven schools and a distinguished academic medical center. Vanderbilt offers undergraduate programs in the liberal arts and sciences, engineering, music, and education and human development, as well as a full range of graduate and professional degrees.
