Mechanical Project Manager

Overview
We are hiring an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to take full ownership of large, complex mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is critical to our continued growth and will have direct influence over project strategy, execution, and long-term client relationships.
You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage significant project budgets and schedules, and serve as the point of accountability ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. What You'll Be Responsible For
Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale mechanical projects, from pre-construction planning through final closeout
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and execution strategies
Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
Partner closely with engineering, design, procurement, and construction teams
Oversee mechanical design and engineering efforts, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and industry standards
Identify project risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
Review and approve change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
Monitor cost control, cash flow, forecasting, and contract performance
Report project performance, financial status, and key milestones to leadership
Resolve high-level project challenges and client concerns
Mentor and develop Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers
Represent the company in client meetings and industry engagements
Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and compliance requirements
What We're Looking For
10+ years of project management experience, including 5+ years leading large-scale mechanical construction projects
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong command of project management and scheduling platforms (MS Project, Procore, Primavera, or similar)
Proven ability to manage complex project financials, schedules, contracts, and teams
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Deep understanding of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive experience with commercial and industrial mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, plumbing)
PMP or other relevant project management certifications
Demonstrated success managing long-duration, multi-stakeholder mechanical projects

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
