Speech-language Pathologist Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from an accredited Speech-language Pathology program
• License from the State of Texas as a Speech-language Pathologist
• Valid Texas Driver’s License

Speech-language Pathologist Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide direct speech therapy services in patients' homes to improve communication, speech, and swallowing function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, home exercises, and strategies to enhance progress.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapy goals.
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and company guidelines.
• Ensure all therapy services adhere to ethical, professional, and regulatory standards.
• Utilize technology for telehealth services when appropriate and ensure patient engagement in virtual sessions.
