Purpose In this entry-level, casual position, you'll assist with preparing supplies, equipment, and work areas for patients undergoing anesthetic procedures. Under supervision, you'll help ensure our anesthesia providers have everything they need to deliver exceptional care. Why This Role Is Perfect for Students Designed for anesthesia tech students and student nurses exploring a career in anesthesia Direct access to the anesthesia team and real-time OR workflow Learn equipment, processes, and terminology that build a strong foundation for future roles Flexible casual scheduling to fit around school commitments What You'll Do As a vital part of the perioperative support team, you will: + Clean, disinfect, and prepare anesthesia equipment according to policy for rapid turnover. + Ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available to support daily operations. + Perform terminal cleaning of anesthesia equipment and restock carts at day's end. + Maintain and organize cables, supplies, and equipment in the workroom. + Assist with intra-operative blood delivery and return in accordance with transfusion policy. + Support prompt OR turnover between surgical cases. + Deliver supplies and equipment immediately when requested by professional staff. + Keep all assigned areas clean, orderly, and ready for use at all times. + Prepare IV solutions and monitoring equipment as directed. + Retrieve, prepare, and distribute equipment to support safe, efficient care. + Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth surgical operations. Build your skills. Grow your confidence. Experience anesthesia from the inside. High School Diploma or GED required. Enrolled in an anesthesia tech program or an undergraduate nursing program.
