Job Description

Description We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of IT to oversee and enhance our client's technology operations on the South Shore in Massachusetts. This role requires a strategic leader who will drive advancements in IT infrastructure, e-commerce platforms, and data-driven decision-making while ensuring operational efficiency and scalability. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing enterprise systems and integrating technology solutions to support business growth. Responsibilities: - Oversee the configuration, optimization, and integration of NetSuite systems to ensure data integrity and seamless workflows. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Marketing, and Operations, to enhance processes and improve visibility. - Manage and optimize Magento-based e-commerce platforms, ensuring high performance, security, and user engagement. - Lead the development and implementation of a long-term technology roadmap aligned with organizational objectives. - Supervise internal IT staff and external vendors to deliver reliable and scalable technology solutions. - Drive innovation in warehouse operations, leveraging automation and real-time data integration to improve efficiency. - Establish and maintain cybersecurity measures and ensure compliance with data governance standards. - Build and expand business intelligence capabilities, creating dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights. - Support marketing initiatives by implementing technology-enabled tools for campaign execution and performance tracking. - Ensure robust backup, recovery, and continuity systems across all IT operations. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. - Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in IT or technology roles within e-commerce or distribution environments. - Proven expertise in implementing and managing NetSuite systems. - Strong knowledge of Magento e-commerce platforms and their integrations. - Familiarity with business intelligence tools and technologies to support data-driven decision-making. - Comprehensive understanding of data architecture, APIs, and cloud-based infrastructure. - Demonstrated ability to manage IT teams and vendor relationships effectively. - Experience optimizing warehouse operations through technology-driven solutions.
