Kelly Services in looking for a skilled and detail-oriented **Injection Molding Operator** in Pomona CA. The primary responsibility is to process machines, maintain, repair, and improve injection and extrusion blow mold machines and support equipment to ensure dependable operation. This role includes working with systems such as compressed air, chilled water, vacuum pumps, loaders, blenders, grinders, conveyors, and robots. **Job Title:** Production Machine Operator II **Position:** **Injection Molding Operator** - full time, Temp to Permanent position **Location:** Pomona, CA 91766 **Schedule:** 2nd Mon-Fri 1:50pm-10:20pm **$21.45p/h** 3rd Sun-Thurs 9:30pm-6:00am **$21.75p/h** with overtime as required **Position Overview:** The Production Machine Operator II operates and maintains machines to produce high-quality parts. Responsibilities include setting up machines, monitoring production, performing quality checks, and troubleshooting any issues. This role also involves training junior operators and suggesting process improvements. The operator reports to the Production Supervisor. **Key Responsibilities:** + Maintain clean work areas and tools to reduce downtime. + Fabricate, process, and assemble products according to instructions and specifications. + Use standard mechanical tools and lift light to moderate weights throughout shift. + Monitor machines for malfunctions and report issues to the Supervisor. + Inspect finished products and maintain accurate production records. + Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues. + Train and support junior operators. + Suggest and help implement process improvements. + Follow safety policies and industry regulations. + Complete other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor. **Qualifications:** + High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of related experience, or 3 years of relevant work experience, or 5 years of related experience. + Strong communication and teamwork skills. + Mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical documents. + Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. + Leadership skills and ability to mentor junior operators. **Physical Demands:** + Must be able to stand and sit for long periods. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout shift. + Willingness to work overtime as required. + Moderate to loud noise in the work environment.
