Job Description

Salary: $35,000 - 40,000 per year Requirements:

• Preferred: Associate degree in a technically related field
• Experience in providing computer and network support
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Extensive troubleshooting abilities
• Capability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders
• Must successfully pass criminal background checks

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to customers to ensure effective identification and resolution of software and hardware issues involving desktop and laptop computers, mobile devices, and printers within the educational institution
• Set up new computers, including imaging, software installation, hardware upgrades, and troubleshooting, while applying desktop updates and modifying configurations
• Focus on resolving help desk tickets through problem identification and resolution
• Develop desktop strategies and configuration alternatives to meet customer needs effectively
• Design, create, deploy, and maintain standard workstation images for desktops and laptops
• Implement patch distribution management for desktops
• Ensure the workstation operating systems are current with the latest security updates, service packs, and manage BIOS & driver maintenance
• Understand and maintain Active Directory group policies and application groups
• Provide ongoing hardware and software support for all technologies
• Troubleshoot and resolve technology failures, documenting necessary changes
• Manage multiple priorities, including tickets, projects, and assigned tasks
• Stay updated with technology trends and changes relevant to the position
