As a Locum NP/PA in Emergency Medicine, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in urgent situations. You will work alongside experienced medical professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of medical conditions. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical assessments and treatment plans for patients in emergency situations
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to inform treatment decisions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Document patient interactions accurately and promptly in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and preventive care measures
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
• Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in emergency medicine

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
• Current NP or PA certification and state licensure to practice
• Experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems

Schedule: 12-hour shifts

Annual Volume: 13k patients

Facility: 29 hospital beds, 10 ED beds

Support Staff: 24-hour physician coverage

Board certification required

Paid travel & lodging
