Locum Tenens Needed for Hampton, VA - Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine job at Aya Locums Hampton, VA, US

• Length of contract: Unknown – potentially long term
• Start date: ASAP / Creds take 90-120 days

Work
• Backup specialties: stroke center, OB, Int Cards, vascular, GI, surgery, ortho (with hand, spine), 2-3 days a week of neurosurgery, nephrology, neurology (in addition to telestroke), hematology/oncology, urology, pulmonary/critical care, and podiatry.
• Coverage Type: 3-4 shifts a month. Scheduled hours
• Schedule Details: 7a-1p, 7a-4p, 10a-10p, 12p-10p, 3p-2a, 9p-7a (times may change). Must be willing to work some nights in order to be considered.
Work Details:
• Facility Type: Hospital
• EMR/Charting Software: epic
• Avg. Daily Census: ranges from 1.5-2.5 patients per hour. Annual volume ranges from 31k-63k

Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: PA-C, FNP, ANCC, AANP
• State License(s): Required, VA
• Certifications: must maintain ACLS or BLS, and if they request Moderate Sedation, they will require the ACLS
• CSR Req’d: yes
• DEA Req’d?: yes
