Day 3×12-hour shifts (07:00–19:30 or 11:00–23:30)
6 shifts per two-week pay period
Every other weekend required
Seeking an experienced Pre-Op/Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse to support a high-acuity recovery room setting. This role requires strong inpatient PACU and critical care experience and the ability to function independently with minimal orientation.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide pre-operative and post-anesthesia nursing care in an inpatient PACU setting
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitoring of post-surgical patients
Deliver safe, evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment
Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Utilize electronic medical records for accurate and timely documentation
Active New York State RN License (required)
BLS certification (required; must be able to recertify)
Minimum 2 years of recent PACU and/or Critical Care experience in an acute care hospital
Experience in hospitals of similar or higher acuity (trauma center experience preferred for travelers)
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must be eligible to work legally in the United States
Must successfully complete pre-employment health clearance
Subject to drug screening and criminal background check
No history of professional license suspension, investigation, or liability claims
