Job Duties and Responsibilities

The RPA Business Analyst is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the organization's Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platform and portfolio of automated processes. This role serves as the central liaison between business stakeholders (identifying opportunities), the RPA development team (executing solutions), and executive leadership (tracking ROI). The primary goal is to maximize the business value derived from our automation investment, ensuring scalability, governance, and alignment with overall corporate digital transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and evangelize a multi-year product vision and strategy for the RPA Center of Excellence, aligned to enterprise digital transformation and automation objectives

  • Own and manage the end-to-end RPA product roadmap and intake backlog, balancing new automation demand, platform enhancements, bot maintenance, and technical debt using agile practices

  • Partner with Finance, Business Analysts, and business leaders to build, prioritize, and track data-driven ROI business cases, ensuring automations deliver measurable financial and operational value

  • Lead cross-functional execution and governance by collaborating with RPA Development, Architecture, IT Security, Change Management, and Training teams to ensure secure, scalable, and adopted solutions

  • Serve as the primary stakeholder and executive communication lead for the automation portfolio, reporting on progress, risks, KPIs, realized value, and production issue resolution

  • Drive continuous innovation and demand generation by evaluating emerging RPA, Intelligent Automation, and AI capabilities, identifying high-value use cases, and translating enterprise needs into scalable automation solutions

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or Engineering
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in the automation space

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise with one or more major RPA platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Microsoft Power Automate), including experience with their Orchestrator/Control Room functionalities
  • Prefer knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and experience managing a product backlog, writing user stories, and prioritizing work streams
  • Previous experience in an RPA Developer, RPA Architect, or RPA Business Analyst role is highly desirable

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
