About the Role We are seeking a
User Experience Designer to join the internal tools team of a leading U.S. retailer known for its innovative approach to delivering exceptional customer experiences. In this role, you will design intuitive, efficient tools that streamline how products move from concept to shelf. You’ll collaborate with a Lead UX Designer and senior leadership to embed human-centered design practices into every phase of the product lifecycle.
This position is ideal for a hands-on designer who thrives on execution and evaluation, using strong UX methods to translate user insights into elegant, usable experiences that solve real problems.
Job Description As a UX Designer, you will:
- Partner with the Lead UX Designer and Sr. Manager to translate product goals into clear UX direction.
- Conduct user discovery to understand workflows and pain points.
- Develop robust solutions balancing business goals, technical constraints, and user needs.
- Create UX artifacts such as user flows, wireframes, and information architectures.
- Plan and track work in Jira, collaborating with Product and Engineering teams.
- Design with rigor, considering error states, edge cases, and data variability.
- Use data to analyze user interactions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Test design concepts and prototypes with users to validate assumptions.
- Collaborate with Research partners to frame hypotheses and measure design impact.
Qualifications Required Qualifications - 4+ years of experience in UX Product Design
- Expert in Figma
- Experience in Jira
- Proven ability to execute UX design through a full product lifecycle
- Strong grounding in UX methods (journey mapping, workflow design, usability testing)
- Demonstrated human-centered design thinking and clear design process
- Experience working in agile environments using Jira and Figma
- Interaction Design

- Enterprise Software Design
Preferred Qualifications - Experience balancing qualitative and quantitative research methods
